… because of finals week.  That is kind of depressing.  I think the intention of that score is to make you post more and make more friends on tumblr.  As I see it, the scoring system is way too volatile for me, moving up and down because of a singular activity, making it difficult to even maintain the status quo.

When you think about it, the system is kind of ridiculous… I thought you can post whatever you want in a tumblog and use it however you like without worrying about being judged.  Now its just a huge popularity (tumblarity) contest online to see who can have the most mainstream things that most people can relate to- the best emo quotes, the cutest animal pictures, the most artsy photograph, the funniest webcomics, and the oldest and cleanest memes you can find from 4chan.  That’s discouraging.

Yeah - mine was never that high but I agree. lol
